When you have a sudden craving for sweet, a couple of these will do you well than reaching out to chocolate……hmm…..debatable!!
1½ cups soft dates (seeds removed)
¾ cups almonds
¼ cup peanuts
1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
2 tbsp chocolate chips (optional)
Add dates and nuts into the grinder bowl and pulse a few times.
Grind till all comes together like dough.
Take out into a bowl and add optional items and mix well.
Roll into balls or pat them on a plate and cut them into bars.
Raw or toasted nuts can be used.
Date balls can be rolled in toasted sesame seeds or chocolate powder.
Adding a few digestive biscuits will give a different texture.
