Coffee Pannacotta

Pannacotta is a very light and creamy Italian dessert which can be put together in less than 10 minutes…They are perfect desserts for parties.

Ingredients:
1 ½ cups milk
1 ½ cups cream
2 tsp gelatin
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp coffee

Method:
Place gelatin in a small bowl and add 3 tbsp of milk. Let it swell.
Heat milk and sugar. Don’t boil.
Pour some hot milk to gelatin and stir till it dissolves.
Add gelatin back to milk and stir. Add cream and coffee powder and keep stirring till the mixture almost begins to boil.
Take off fire and pour into individual serving dishes or into one big dish through a sieve. Sprinkle little coffee granules on top. Refrigerate for few hours or overnight.
Decorate with chocolate covered coffee beans.

Notes:
I usually pour into individual molds.
If you are doing one big bowl, then lightly oil the sides before pouring the hot mixture.
To unmould, dip ¾ the of the bowl in hot water for few seconds, run a knife around the pannacotta and invert onto a cold plate.
