Creamy Mushroom Pasta

Creamy Pasta

1 cup pasta of your choice
6-8 mushrooms cleaned and sliced
1 medium onion chopped
1 cup cream
½ cup low fat milk
5 cloves garlic finely chopped
1 tsp pepper powder
½ tsp dry basil
2 tbsp olive oil

Cook pasta in boiling water, add salt before draining.
Hear oil and add garlic. Stir few times and add onions. Saute till onions become translucent and then add mushrooms. Cook till mushrooms are cooked and almost dry.
Add cream and milk. Stir.
Sprinkle basil and pepper powder. Adjust salt.
Let it simmer for few minutes and take off fire.
Serve hot.
