Recipe from Sapana
1 packet mushroom 250 gms
1 medium capsicum strips
1 medium onion chopped fine
2 medium tomatoes pureed
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 tsp chili powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
½ tsp garam masala
1 tsp kasoori methi (dry fenugreek leaves)
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
Wash the mushrooms and quarter them.
Heat oil and add onions.
When onions turn translucent, add ginger garlic paste and stir till raw smell goes.
Add tomato puree, coriander powder, chili powder and garam masala.
Saute well till oil starts to clear.
Add mushrooms, capsicum, salt and ½ cup water.
Cook covered for 8-10 mins.
By now the gravy would have thickened and vegetables cooked.
Add crushed kasoori methi, coriander leaves and stir well.
Serve with chapathi.
