Mixed Dal Fry

Ingredients:
¼ cup moong dal
¼ cup toor dal
¼ cup masoor dal
1 medium tomato chopped
1 medium onion chopped finely
2 tsp garlic minced
2 tsp ginger minced
¼ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chili powder
3-4 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1 tsp cumin seeds
1-2 tbsp oil
salt to taste

Method:
Wash all dals and put in a pressure cooker or pan along with 1 ½ cups of water.
Add turmeric powder, chili powder, salt and HALF of chopped tomato, onion, ginger and garlic.
Cook for 1 whistle or till its cooked nicely.
Add coriander leaves, stir and keep aside.
Heat oil in a small pan and add cumin.
When it splutters, add rest of onion, ginger and garlic.
Saute for a min and add rest of tomato.
Saute nicely and add to dal.
Mix well and check salt. Add hot water if the dal is too thick. (It will thicken as it cools)
Serve with chapathis.

Note:
Can use single dal instead of mixed
